For 25 years, we’ve provided 100% free, quality healthcare services to underserved individuals and families throughout the Lewis-Clark Valley, the Palouse, and surrounding region. Our compassionate team of board-certified physicians, licensed providers, and volunteers work together to ensure that every patient receives care, dignity, and hope—no matter their financial situation.

Who provides care at Snake River Community Clinic?
Our patients are cared for by board-certified physicians, licensed healthcare providers, and dedicated volunteers who believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of ability to pay.
How are your services 100% free?
All services at Snake River Community Clinic are provided at no cost to patients. We operate through generous donations, community support, grants, and partnerships that allow us to deliver essential healthcare without charging fees. For example, the clinic sites are donated by Public Health-Idaho North Central District.
Why do you focus on preventative healthcare?
We believe prevention is the foundation of lifelong health. By focusing on early detection, education, and regular care, we help patients avoid costly emergency visits and manage chronic conditions before they become critical.
Will I ever receive a bill?
No. Patients at Snake River Community Clinic will never receive a bill for their care. Our mission is to remove financial barriers, enabling everyone to access the healthcare they need.
Is the clinic recognized for quality care?
Yes. Snake River Community Clinic is a member of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) and operates in full compliance with quality and safety standards for charitable healthcare organizations. Every year the clinic maintains its Gold Standard Seal from the NAFC in recognition of its high-quality and safety standards.
Who qualifies for services?
We provide care for individuals and families who meet the following criteria:

Uninsured: We welcome Medicare, Medicaid, and privately insured patients for an initial visit while helping connect them with a covered provider.

Low-Income: Individuals and families earning up to 250% of the federal poverty level.

Underinsured: Patients who meet our income criteria and have only catastrophic coverage.

Do you offer more than just medical care?
Yes! In addition to medical services, we provide integrated behavioral health and social services to address the whole person—mind and body. We also offer medical, dental, and hygiene supplies, medications, dental care, vision services, labs, and basic imaging.
What types of medications are available?
We provide access to many essential medications, including:

Our medication program ensures patients receive the treatment they need to manage their health safely and effectively. We do not provide any controlled medications.
